(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
- In a way, yes and no. I used to help my in law ALOT when they had them. But I just established my own flock. Got them from TSC back at the beginning of June.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
- 10
(3) What breeds do you have?
- 2 rhode island reds
- 3 buff orpingtons
- no sure on the 5 black ones.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
- I love to just sit and watch them. Also eggs are a great!!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
- reading
- being outside in general
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- I'm married and a mom of 2.
- im a stay at home mom
- i also have one dog
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
- I found it by googling about chickens. Ive known about it for about a month. And I need help with identifying a breed and maybe roo or pullet.
