Open Contest Official BYC 2022 Summer Fair—Other Poultry Show

This show is for all poultry other than chickens. Examples include ducks, geese, quail, pigeons, turkeys, pheasants, etc. As long as it's poultry and isn't a chicken, it is welcome here!

Since a lot of Other Poultry do not have Standards of Perfection, this contest will be judged based on the overall condition of the birds and the quality of the photos. Clear, focused, well-lit photos of a well-posed bird in good condition will score higher.

Though we will not be judging per the SOP of each breed/species, general disqualifications do still apply, such as clear evidence of disease, Angel Wing in ducks and geese, or pendulous crop in turkeys, etc.

Enter by posting images of your birds in this thread. Each entry should consist of 1-3 photos of your bird.

The Other Poultry Show is a judged photo contest.

Rules:

1. 4 entries per member. An entry is 1-5 images of your "other domestic poultry"
2. Include one photo that shows the entire left or right side of the bird (head, beak, feet, and tail).
3. Please include the breed and sex of the bird.
4. No chickens allowed.
5. Please enter Broad Breasted turkeys in the Meat Bird Show instead of this show.
6. No excessive photo editing, but basic cropping and poop removal are allowed.
7. You cannot use a photo that won an award in any other BYC-sponsored contest.
8. No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
9. High-quality images are recommended.
10. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
11. This is a judged photo contest and the winners will be determined by a panel of judges.
12. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
13. All BYC rules apply - Terms of Service (Rules)
14. Entries will be accepted until August 21st, 2022, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

BYC Store Gift Certificates and the cookbook are available to winners that reside in the United States. If the winners are outside of the United States they will be awarded the PFM instead.
