    Why does my rooster hate me? He is great to his two hens but he keeps nailing me when I am outside minding my own business. I have multiple beak wounds and I sometimes really think about turning this guy into a pot pie.

    Then you'll have to decide if that's worth it. Personally, I see ads on craigslist advertising free or cheap roosters that are gentlemen that would do the same job, just without the human aggression. If you do decide to get rid of him, you will be shocked how life-changing taking care of the chickens is if you don't have the stress of a bad boy. ♥️

    I did name him Mad Dog. I was going for a boozy theme but it turned out to just define him as an adult. Lol
