BYC’s Splendid Spring Flowers Photo Contest
~ "April showers bring May flowers" ~
April showers bring May flowers. This April we had lots of showers, so we can expect beautiful flowers!
The sun is shining, flowers are blooming and the grass is getting greener, granting us a sign of hope for good weather we can enjoy just as much as our flocks.
What are you waiting for? Get out there and show off your gorgeous new perennials you bought at the farmer's market! Or the daisy's that popped up in your yard unexpectedly!
Snap up to five photos of the beautiful flowers (or weeds!) in your yard or garden and enter them in this contest for a chance to win a great prize for yourself or a friend!
Animals and/or humans are allowed in the photos, but the flower(s) must be the star of the photo. Weeds are allowed as well. As a BYC member once said, "who says weeds can't be beautiful?"

It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread with pictures of one or more flowers! (Please post one photo per post.)
To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.
Rules:
- Five entries per member. An entry is one photo of one or more flower. Please, one photo per post.
- The photo needs to have been taken by you.
- You cannot use a photo that was entered in a previous contest on BYC.
- No collages. One photo is one entry. Please post one photo per post.
- Basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed. We want to see the world through your eyes, not through the excessive use of editing tools.
- Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
- No screenshots, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
- ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
- Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
- Open to all BYC members.

- Entries will be accepted until Tuesday, May 31st at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. May take up to 1 week after the contest to announce winners to allow time for judging.
