Back a few months ago I ended up rescuing a young game fowl from a neighbor. She was best guess 3-6 months old no injuries. i quarantined and dewormed her and up til now she’s fit in with my flock just fine.
4 days ago she disappeared didn’t see her all day and my Head hen(Nugget) was limping around so i’m assuming these 2 ladies got into a fight. Found my game fowl that night she is hiding behind a huge tree in my backyard where i cannot get to her. I put a bowl of water and was able to slide a bowl of food to her but that’s as far as i can reach her. she’s eating and drinking as far as i can tell from the missing food but she has not moved in 4 days. She looks like a statue. I thought she was dead a few times but she’s not but won’t come out so i can’t tell if/how/what is injured. Help what do I do?

You definitely need to get her out of there and isolated in a hospital cage with soft bedding. She needs a good once over to assess her injuries, clean wounds, apply any needed ointments, ect.... Prop her up if needed. Antibiotics if she is really torn up.

Many times with shock they get cold, which kills them faster than the injuries. So she needs to be kept between 75 to 85 degrees F until she heals.

Keep food and water close so she doesn't need to move around to find sustenance.

Good luck with her!

unfortunately where she has wedged herself in i cannot reach her unless we cut down part of the tree base to make room so someone can reach her. So not really an option. I’m trying not to stress her anymore than she is but with it being 4 days now i’m assuming she injured just not sure what i can do for her since she’s in a spot no one can reach. i put some electrolytes/vitamins in the bowl of water and she’s drinking and gave her extra food which she’s eaten.

I hate to think she is suffering back in there. She is also open to drawing in predators, she could become more injured or killed. I don't think there is much you can do if you can't get her out.

I just wanted to post an update on my little game fowl who I thought was injured and was hiding behind our tree ends up she had a whole nest of eggs back there and she was just very broody. After 14 days of literally sitting on those eggs not moving a muscle she acted just like a statue and me having to put food and water where she could reach it she finally came running out one day like nothing happened
