My silkie bantam Kiri laid her first eggs and became broody after a month. I tried the usual cold bottom tricks and remove her several times a day to eat and drink but six weeks later she is still there!

Will my Silkie bantams be heavy enough to open a platform feeder? The garden birds are going into the coop and eating their feed.
