Merry Christmas!

With a heavy heart, I update as a reminder to myself that our oldest pup passed away yesterday morning at nearly 13 years old. Will miss you old man.

Very thankful for the rain as of late. Hoping the garden does well though high wind took some corn. Hoping those in other parts find cooler temps and some rain!

Hard to believe that Easter will mark half a year of miss Wally the rescue hen being with us!

Sorry to be absent as of late - lots going on, and been outdoors much more! Wally and her duck friend Tater and the other hens are doing great.

Looking back on photos of Wally when we first rescued her a little over two months ago, and can't believe this hen is the same! She's healthy, spunky, and so smart!

It's almost time to start getting Wally the rescue hen acclimated slowly to the flock. Hoping this sweet, big baby gets along with everyone!

2020 has been an odd year. We’ve lost two special elderly dogs, a great pet duck, then turned around and rescued a chicken at the grocery store parking lot. On top of everything else going on in the world. Hoping now the activity constantly happening out in the ocean doesn’t bring hurricanes. But remaining positive in other aspects!

Lost a very special old pup friend this past Friday the 21st. Honey was a beautiful, elderly rescue that was with us for over 10 years. She's going to be sorely missed, especially by her brother. Honey Bear, Honey Bee, Honey Bunny- you're going to stay in my heart I promise old friend.
