So, I had nine chicks of an unknown breed. They're all yellowish-orange. Just now, one of them died! I have no clue how. Here are the factours:
Producer's Pride Metal Brooder/Heater
https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/producers-pride-metal-brooder-with-heater-cc-brooder4
Medicated water (Rooster Booster) and medicated Purina Starter Food
The day before yesterday, when we brought them home, another chick died (but we had her separated from the others the entire time and her belly was bloated)
This chick, then I checked on her this morning, was fine. She wasn't lethargic, limping or droopy. She just turned up dead! Her belly wasn't bloated, and she didn't feel like she had parasites or anything. I'm afraid that I'll lose the others, too, if she had something contagious. Please help!
