Everyone meet the appropriately named Pasty! Pasty is super sweet but has had pasty butt since the night we brought her home (which has only been 3 days). My wife and I have cleaned her every day but my question is; is there anything we can do to help her other than keep gently cleaning her and also how long does it usually last?

Usually it is exacerbated or caused by too much heat and not enough water. Do you have a picture of your setup? Also a little probiotics and nutri drench in water in addition to fresh helps to keep things moving but thats secondary to proper hydration and temperature
Yes I’ll have to take one in a few. She arrived with it terribly from tractor supply (like caked on) and the reason I didn’t notice is because we got a discount of the remaining chicks so it was the whole batch. It’s been better the last two days but still prevalent. I’ve been giving the fresh water at least twice a day usually 3 times. The brooder set up I have worked great for our first round of chicks but I just want to make sure I’m doing everything I can for her.
