We have been on a road trip for the past ten days and lost three of our younger birds to a mite infestation. They were all super sweet and adorable.
Dandelion-Fluff: She was a sweet little silked white Easter Egger who laid light blue eggs and had beautiful brown eyes. She was very loving and I was sure she would get to be a mother some day. She got a splash of green on her back for saint Patrick’s day and a bath to get the mud of her under belly.
Panther: she was a cuddly little bantam frizzled black Cochin with a deformed toe and an attitude. I carried her around in a custom made box and tried to put her in a harness (which she hated). She was microscopicly tiny and super talkative.
Penguin: she was a sweet partridge Cochin who had the softest eyes and reminded me of a caramel chocolate truffle. She gave the best hugs.
