So, I placed my order for chicks with Cackle just a few minutes ago. Time to buckle down and get the coop done before the week of August the 3rd. I'm so excited.

That looks like a great spot! plenty of shade, a fence, grass.... And in my understanding, nice heat-tolerant breeds!

LOL I was having worries about not getting what I wanted all at once and adding to the flock later. So I added another small order from Cackle for 4 Lavender and 3 Black Ameraucanas. This brings my total to 25.I'll have to cut down eventually but I am so worried about losses in the beginning that I may have over done it. More work in the long run but I think I will be happier as well.
One thing for sure, it's easier to sell a few if needed, than to integrate new birds into a flock, especially your first few integrations. I'm sure you'll be happier with the approach you took.
