Absolutely. We have invisible fencing (electric with shock collar) around our yard, and the deer know exactly how far Maggie can go and will stand just out of range taunting her.

The deer travel through my property regularly. Jewel weed grows within feet of my kennels. The deer graze on it during the summer. Most of my dogs learn to ignore them. The fox and coyotes on the other hand drive them nuts.

Look at the early flock pictures and then at the most recent. The flock improvement is very evident.
