Hello friends, I purchased 5 fertile silkie eggs for my broody silkie momma to hatch on April 8th all 5 hatched yay! so they are now 14 weeks old I thought I had 1 Roo who I am told is a Satin or just a silkie mix and likely male now I thought the rest were girls but to my surprise one of the little black ones starting crowing surprise!!!! so now I know for sure that one is indeed a boy looking closely he does have very prominent waddle which is hard to see because he and 2 others are completely black so unless your really looking you don't see them. Could someone please help me because now I am wondering if I actually only have 1 girl? I thought eggs might be a boy but does not have a waddle so maybe Eggs is a girl? and someone on the board here told me they thought Albert was a boy but now I am not sure and looking at Lola compared to five I am thinking Lola might be Larry? only have one other silkie which is my Momma which is why I wanted to hatch some more, so I am not well versed in how to really be sure with these little cuties! I am attaching photos with names if someone could help I would be so thankful because if they are boys I have some questions!
