I bought 3 Easter Eggers. They have very different coloring. I would love to know what combination of breeds these two are. Anyone have any ideas? They are a little over 12 weeks old.

the first look like a blue copper maran but i can't see her feet. Olive eggers, which are easter eggers. Easter eggers are mixes of mixes so its hard to say.

EE are nice bc they are so varied! The goal is usually to get “colored” eggs - mostly blue or green, although they can lay white or brown eggs. So, to get that blue egg gene, there is usually Ameraucana in there (which was developed from the Araucana breed-the original blue egg layer in the chicken family).

Easter Eggers are usually bred from other Easter Eggers. There are no breed standards so they can look like anything.

Somewhere back in their ancestry they have a blue layer -- usually either an Ameraucana or a Cream Legbar. Beyond that, there's no knowing.
