Hello! So I have recently been looking at "Fluffy Butt Acers: Stories of our flock" and decided to do something kind of like that. I will get pictures off all of my residents soon. I need a name for my coop. It hold six Guinea hens ( Stories on them will also be on here) and five chickens. Soon four if my home I have set up for a rooster works out. Let's start by naming the birds. Starting with the guineas. Lady's first! Ridges ( Sweet faced African White female. Has gone broody a few times. Gets very scary.) Madame Pearl ( Sweet looking Pearl Gray female Guinea. Used to stay out with the other girls 'Who got EATEN by staying out at night'. Now goes into the coop to be with her boyfriend, Blu Faced Harry. ) Pearl Gurl ( Was squaking one minute, the next, gone. Don't know what happened to her, but I am hopeful she will come back. I am also doubtful, but hopeful. Also used to stay out at night. Vanished mid-day. The blip?) Lavender Gurl ( Noisy and annoying. Cute. Sweet, but REFUSED to go in at night. I think a bobcat got her. We only have two alive girls. Hoping to keep it that way.) Next is the boys, starting with the alive, then dead. Blu Faced Harry ( Goes by Harry. Loves his girlfriend more than anything. Flock leader. Chases the other boys and is a bully. Madame Pearl like bad boys, I guess. Lol. Pearl Gray.) Guineass( Name pronounced, " Guinea-iss". My favorite. Royal Purple. Bottom of the pecking order. Says thanks whenever I give him food on the perch. Sweet, he and one of my white males hate each other. I will always see those two boys fighting and chasing each other around.) Soary ( Don't know now to tell him and High Butt apart. African white. Could be a mate to Ridges. Maybe the mean one who chased Guineass. ) High Butt ( African white. Can not tell him apart from Soary. Got his name by having his tail up while eating when younger. Could be a mate to Ridges. May be the mean one who hates Guineass.) Now the dead ones. Mr. Lavender ( He is still alive but we needed to give him away because everyone was trying to kill him the day after Lavender Gurl " His girlfriend" died. ) NOW the actual dead ones. White Faced Harry ( Pearl Gray Male with a white face. Got decapitated by a raccoon. I won't go into detail on the dead ones.) Oh, now that I am thinking about it, we gave one boy away and the other died. We only got one male killed. Now for the babys. Snowy ( High Butt or Soary is the dad, Ridges is the mom. Super cute.) Fluffy ( Rkdges is the mom, Guineass is the dad. Will be a Royal Purple pied. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHH!!!!!) Pickles ( Also a Royal Purple pied. My fav of the babys. Super sweet.) Ahhhhhhh. That's all for the guineas. Maybe I will do another post on the chickens. Introductions take a while.
