Hi all - I live in Northern California and currently have two coturnix, Pashmak & Photoshop who are my pets. I recently came back from a 4-day trip and saw one of my quails had a weird looking cyst or abscess on her face. She doesn't appear to be in any pain, but it doesn't look great. I was thinking it may be a sinus infection since it was hot while I was gone and they tend to mess up and poop in and around their water.
I tried taking pictures of it but as you can see it looks a little fleshy colored with a dark red spot. It covers both sides of her face. If anyone has any insights as to what this could be and how to treat it I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
