It’s nice to be back on this website! I remember when I made my first account when I was in 6th grade! I had a profile page I could decorate with pics of my hens. It was awesome. Now I’m 23 and in college

these these are the two “males” that I bought. The one wi the the pink beak is pretty submissive and more talkative than the other quail. The other quail I have also seen crow. Could the other be a female ?

Woke up this morning and little quail lady seems to be in a good mood. She’s not too anxious. she is calm and happily picking at her food I sprinkled on the ground for her. i can’t quite figure a name out for her yet…
As for the two males I’m thinking Sorrel and Laurel.
Epsom salt bath soon to come!

Just got three coturnix from a poultry auction. ) so excited to try my hand at raising quail. Two white male and a brown female. Female is looking a little rough though. Feathers all messed up and has bumble foot letting her rest tonight alone after the long day she had. She seems to be enjoying her own space. Tomorrow we soak in epsom salt and help sooth her wounds.
