Males or females

I recently got Buttonquail and they are now seven weeks old I thought the ones with the colorful feathers meant they were males but I noticed that I have one black with a blue stomach and he’s a male because I caught him crowing and on top of other birds but the ones he was on top of also have colorful feathers like a red butt and blue feathers around the chest area I also saw him on cinnamon female I thought and the other ones I thought were roosters Have a little white specs on the head where their feathers have been pulled out. here are some photos of the birds

The males typically develop red coloring near the vent. Nice variety! I see a couple hens for sure but others may be more helpful with colors/genders

Also You were talking about the red butts three have red feathers on their butt but the one that is very aggressive and jumping on everyone is jumping on the other ones with red butts is he dominating or are they females. I’ve never had birds and they seem quite aggressive while he’s on top of them dragging them by their head feathers

I'll have to take a look later when Im not stuck outside in bright sunlight. The tuxedos aren't feather sécable, though.

Not sound dull but what does tether sécable mean

Yes a male can become dominant/aggressive toward other males

Blue faced Male
Cinnamon (?) Pied blue faced Male
Wild Color Female
Silver Red breasted (?) Female
Cinnamon (?) Tuxedo Male
Cinnamon Female

I think that if they have the blue or red feathers then they are definitely male, but the lack of them does not guarantee they are female.
