I have one Buff Orpington chick that I think is about 6 or 7 weeks old (correct me if I'm wrong), and when I got it, I was told it was a pullet, but I've been worried she's a he instead. I only have two chicks at the moment, the other is a younger EE mix who I was able to feather sex when she hatched, but since I wasn't able to do that with the Buff Orpington, I've been a bit anxious about it's gender. So far the chick has been fairly high energy - likes to flap around, climbs all over me, tries to eat my hair (ugh) - and it hasn't been showing physical features of a young rooster yet, but since I haven't raised a Buff Orpington before and this chick's sibling is younger and a different breed so I can't compare the two of them well, I thought I'd see if anyone here had any ideas.
If someone could take a look at these photos and try to help me identify the gender (or if you have a better idea of the age) of my chick that would be very appreciated.
Thank you so much !
