Hi, this is my first post here so hello!

I Have 3 chicks that I’m having trouble identifying. They all came from a store, so I know they could have different parents and be different ages, etc. There are 2 Starlight Green Egger and 1 Welsummer, I can’t tell which are which! :barnie Here’s what I know:
Chick A: smaller sized, mostly dark brown, has a bigger triangle shaped dark brown patch on her head. Light colored feet.
Chick B: this is my girl Kathy, she’s bigger and she’s got the diamond shape mark on the top of her head and light colored feet. Very friendly bird, she likes to hop onto my shoulder and has a great personality.
Chick C: this chick is shy and smaller than the others and has developed darker colored feet, this is the only bird I have with darker feet, I actually thought something was wrong because of that!

I’ll attach labeled photos of the chicks at various ages. (if more photos are necessary, I have a lot on my phone lol) If you have any feedback I’d love to know! Thank you.

(In my entire group I have 7 total birds: 2 Rhode Island Red, 2 Starlight green Eggers, 1 turken, 1 light brahma, 1 Welsummer. I’m pretty confident I’ve got the other breeds identified but I wanted to include that info just in case.)

Welcome to BYC. It is pretty difficult to tell chicks with the chipmunk pattern apart.

Chick A probably is a Welsummer.

Chick B could maybe be a Welsummer or a Starlight green egger.

Chick C, because of the dark legs, can't be a Welsummer but could be a SGE.

Keep in mind that stores that carry chicks are notorious for mixing up the breeds. So you won't know for sure what you have until they grow up.

Welcome to BYC! We're happy to have you join us.

SGE's are hybrids that result in a green egg layer. They were created by crossing Prairie Bluebell Egger with a brown egg layer, so the results vary as far as looks go. I have one SGE and she's a petite red and white feathered hen with yellow legs. Very sweet and gentle hen that lays a mint green egg. I agree with Jed

One more tip that might help others identify your chicks. Take a few more full body pictures of them without the red light on. That makes it difficult to see the colors of the birds feathers. No matter what, you've got some beautiful birds 💕

At the advice of @HeatherKellyB I took some photos while cleaning out the brooder today that show coloring much better without the red light. This is the first good photo I’ve gotten that shows chick C’s legs.

Thank you for the welcome everyone!
