My rooster has been behaving this way for a while now. I kept hoping it would go away on its own, but it hasn’t. About a week ago I heard him crowing just fine, and I thought he was better, but then the next day he was back to this.
I have recently treated him and the rest of the flock for worms, thinking it might be gapeworm. No change. There is a small amount of yellow on the roof of his mouth, at the top of his throat, but nothing like the large chunks of “cheese” I see in pictures of cankers.
He seems fine otherwise, and none of my other birds are exhibiting anything odd. Any thoughts? Thank you.
