My hen seems to have some swelling on her beak. It’s purplish gray and a bit scabbed from her picking at it. She feels skinny too. I checked the inside of her mouth for the yellow lesions because I thought maybe she had a canker sore, but I don’t see anything. It just looks purple on the inside of her mouth where she’s having issues. My mom thinks her beak may be broken underneath the swelling. I’m not sure what it is and what action to take. I appreciate any help. I’ll include a picture of her.
