Details: Patient is a 2 1/2 week old speckled sussex.
Please see attached videos taken from various angles -- he/she does this neck stretch twist every couple of minutes.
Starting three mornings ago, I thought she had an impacted crop because it was VERY swollen and soft.
So I gave her coconut oil and massaged her crop (chick has been given this same treatment for the past three mornings) which seemed to empty the crop somewhat, but not completely.
The first morning, croft was soft.
2nd morning, croft was very hard and the size of golf ball.
3rd morning (today), crop is very big and soft. Treatment did not have same effect in reducing size.
Crop has no odor, so I do not believe it is sour crop.
He/She is pooping normally, but does not eat as often as her siblings. He/she is considerably smaller than her flock-mate siblings, so she hasn't grown as much in the past 2 1/2 weeks.
The chick has not behaved as if sick, although by this the third day, seems not as playful and more tired.
Bedding is wood chips.
Diet is non-medicated chick starter, served dry and fresh water.
He/she is separated from flock and been given electrolytes and additional vitamins in addition to coconut oil and crop massages.
She is a real sweetheart and I don't want to lose her!
I live in an extremely rural area and there are no aviary vets near me.
Has anyone seen this before and what should I do?
PLEASE HELP!! URGENT!!! I will greatly appreciate any help/advice you can provide.
Having a hard time trying to post videos (with .mov) but chick stretches and neck and wobbles it back and forth, while the crop or something very lumpy moves around on her chest. It looks very painful!

Sounds like wry neck. Did you try to give her some vitamins like Poly-Vi-Sol without iron? If you remove the food for several hours, does her crop empty? I had a a chick having wry neck. I gave her Poly-Vi-Sol without iron and noticed the symptoms improved in a couple days. It took her about 2~3 weeks to totally recover.
