Hi - I have a red sexlinked hen with a sour crop. I isolated her with no food or water for the first 12 hours, massaged the crop. After 12 hours gave apple cider vinegar and water and continued crop massage but saw no change. At 36 hours with no change, I started miconozole mixed with some scrambled egg, and a teaspoon of coconut oil. She's had 4 doses of that but its been almost 72 hours now and there hasn't been much change, except that her bad breath has gotten better. How long does it take for this kind of thing to resolve? I'm concerned there might be blockage farther down the digestive tract but don't know how to tell. She seems in good spirits, is preening and eating when I give her the egg and oil. Has watery diahrea. What am I missing?

So you've only been treating her for a couple of days?
Is her crop emptying overnight?

Give the anti-fungal medication twice a day for a full 7 days.
Crop issues can sometimes be difficult to resolve.
Do keep in mind that a slow crop is a symptom, generally there's an underlying condition like reproductive disorders, worms, infection, etc.
Let her eat her normal feed, you can offer it wet if you wish. A crop that is sour and yeasty, don't massage.
