Hey everyone, so for those of you who don't follow me I have seven chickens. Six of them are hens and one is a rooster. I am wanting to breed my chickens for me not to sell. So since I am doing that I have decided just to have mixed breeds. I have a Black Copper Maran rooster who is almost seven months old. One of my favorite chickens that I have is Cashew, a ten-month-old Rhode Island Red hen. I love her because of her personality which is really friendly, her egg production (quantity and quality), and just because I would like to see what a BCM x RIR looks like. My assumption is that it would look solid black with red patches or darker copper colors on her feathers. I know that the colors black and white are dominant over colors like green and red so that's why I guessed that color for the majority if the offsprings coloring.
If you know anything about what the offspring would look like or if you have any pictures please share them. Anything will help!!! <<<< NOT KIDDING! Advice for the breeds will also be accepted.
