One of the ducks we keep has what can only be described as intense constipation. Initially, we suspected by the ducks behaviour she was eggbound (not eating but drinking, abdominal straining and swollen cloaca area) but upon inspection the entire area was plugged with feces and the cloaca entrance bleeding and swollen - as though turning inside out.
The blockage has been cleared as far as possible with digital manipulation and what would be described as douching. Area has been sprayed with iodine however she is still uncomfortable and clear mucus is being discharged.
Is there any way to help her further? We are unable to access veterinary services and in the last 20 years we have not seen this issue in any of our ducks so are a bit stuck for what to do.
Any advice appreciated!

Sounds like an egg may have busted inside of her. You might try adding some coconut oil to her feed ,letting her soak in a warm water bath can help with swelling and you can add some Epsom salt to her warm water bath which is she drinks any [it's also a laxative] may help also. If an egg has busted she will need some antibiotics so if at all possible a vet should be looked into. Can you post a picture of her bottom you could be describing a Prolapse.

@casportpony and suggestions?

It would be helpful to see pictures of the duck's vent (cloaca). Other possibilities could be a prolapse, bacterial infection, coccidia, worms, fungal infection, or some other disease.
