Is this normal? Chicks sleeping in my arms?

She/he is two weeks old and she/he acts energetic and dominant while in the cage, but when I take her out, I can lay her on my chest and she will sleep. Like, above! I think it's most adorable thing, but is it normal for her to do this? Just making sure!

You are nice and warm, and your heartbeat is soothing. Keep that photo for a treasure.

I've got one hen nearing her second birthday, who as a chick was a snuggler. To this day she still wants to snuggle.

I love it!

Thank you!! That is adorable! I can only hope that our chickens will do that when they are older! By the way, your chicken is beautiful!

That is such a cute photo!

Its normal like everyone says. Its great that chick is so relaxed and contented around you.

i have one adult chicken that is crazy super people friendly - she likes people more than the other chickens.

When I go into the coop she is following me about pressed up against my foot or let - have to be careful not to step on her. All she wants it to be picked up and petted.

She is a bantam and she can fit into one hand. She will sit on my hand while I stroke her and within a few moments she is snoozing away.

I have no idea why she is so different to the other chickens I have.
