ok so my ducks are in the pond, it’s too dark to go and try to catch them. it’s 32° now and has been for 2 hours. (it’s 8pm right now) and in 2 hours it’ll go down to 28° until 11pm. it’s a pretty big pond, will it freeze and the ducks will have no predator escape? also we have the babies out in the garage (they are a couple weeks old) and is it too cold for them, do i need to bring them in?

Your big ducks should be ok. It takes big bodies of water longer to freeze than a Kiddie pool.

your ducklings in the garage I can’t answer for.. it would depend on age, and set up I think.
ducklings are like 2 weeks old, they are in a brooder with hay (no heat lamp because ours broke and i don’t want to go out to get another one, i would but we have so many coronavirus cases near us...)

At two weeks with that temp and no heat I would bring them in.

to replace your heat lamp you could order the rent a coop heat plate it’s not as expensive and have it delivered. I use that one and like it. specially if you’re in an area like me that can’t decide if spring is really here.

Do you want them to still be healthy and possibly not dead in the morning I’d ask parents if you can have them In your room with the door closed so the cat can’t get to them..30 inside your garage is very dangerous to your ducklings
i’ll try, but i’m 14 so if they say no i really can’t do anything about it 😭 i don’t know if they’ll let me keep them in my room since they think the ducks smell though
