Well I had lost rack of the days. I had given up hope. This is the second time I have had a broody sit and it did not go well the first time

SO I thought it had been way too long, I actually went out this morning planning on taking her eggs away (She has two). But I lifted her up and found this!

Awww, too cute! Is it a little Turken? It looks like it. Please come back with pictures later so we can see your hen being a mama, I'd love to see them! Good luck, hope your other egg hatches too!

It is out and about eating and drinking. The other egg has still not hatched. I am guessing it is a bantam cochin/naked neck cross. Do you think it will keep the feathering on it's face?

CONGRATS! The fun is just beginning for you, as you will see your new chick grow & mommy teach it to be a big chicken. Be sure to listen, mom will be talking to her baby, you will hear her cooing and purring, andclucking harshly in warning if any danger is near.

GOOD LUCK!
