I have been raising pekin for several years but mostly just to my liking. I have sold several that have went to county fairs and won CH Waterfowl and GCH Heavy Duck but have never shown any myself.

Does anyone have a standard for them they can post? I do not have a SOP book and can't find it online.

Thanks,
Nicol

Here is a link to a page from the International Waterfowl Breeders Association, that, if you scroll down quite a ways, you will see Pekin Ducks. There is a photo and a description, but i've seen them at shows alot bigger than that! I'm not sure if that is the standard you would use in America though. Hope it helps!

Your best option is to buy a Standard of Perfection. It is copy righted material, so it can not be legally reproduced and you won't see it published anywhere outside the book.

It's a lovely book and worth every penny.

The only problem with it is that you look at all the gorgeous pictures of different birds and your wish list grows out of control.
