My girl, Nelly started just started laying on 8/26. Yesterday afternoon, I let all four girls out to spread their wings. I went inside the house for a minute and come back out. When I stepped outside they all came running to me and then they all turned around and ran in front of me except Nelly. She would run a few feet and then squat in front of me. She repeated this several times.
Is that normal hen behavior? Does she think that I'm the rooster?
