I have had chickens off and on for several years. After losing flocks to predators and disease, I want to know everything I can about raising healthy chickens and how to keep them safe.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now.
I have about 24 chicks and 4 hens. Chicks are about 4 months old.

Splash Marans,Legbar, easter eggers, Speckled Sussex, and Gray Marans
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love watching them

I am a widow and I have one son, a daughter in law and 2 grandsons

My son is a member. Just listening to the information he has learned since he joined has made me realize how much I don't know.
