North West residence to come together and spread awareness of EBOLA to support the impacted communities in west Africa. There has been tremendous international response through the contribution of health personnel, medical supplies and financial donations. However, gaps still exist in the availability and distribution of these resources to organizations and hospitals working specifically in hard to reach small towns and villages.
We are asking for your participation, support and sponsorship by donating funds, food, personal protective equipment (i.e. gloves, gowns, rubber boots, head and shoe covers etc.), other sanitary supplies to distribute to rural cities in high impacted areas.
Our goal is to swiftly send these items to rural villages and towns that are currently not being reached. We are doing this with the help of UNICEF, who will deliver all donated items and funds to the people and clinics treating ill patients.
Please join us to increase awareness about Ebola in our local community by donating funds and collecting supplies that will be used to stop the spread of this deadly virus. We are having a fundraiser and educational event that will to be held at the Ethiopian Community Center (8323 Rainier Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98118) on
December 6, 2014 starting at 2:00 PM. Donations will be collected at this event.
