New immigrant’s orientation:
-To help immigrants how to deal with everyday activities such as, transportation, housing, communication, food, banking and health care.
-To educate immigrants on the difference between both American and the Liberian cultures so as to reduce the cultural shock many immigrants experienced upon arrival.
- To help educate immigrants on how to prepare application, resume, and conduct mock interview.
- Help job seekers with transportation to meet appointments.
- Help seek employment opportunities for immigrants through contact with potential employers.
- Help immigrants acquire basic job training skills to enable them find reliable employment.
-To assist children, youth and adults participate in activities that will enrich their lives, build self-confidence and self-esteem.
-These activities include sports, camping, hiking and other social activities.
