A WJG egg hatched, but it's black. Genetics?

Genetics of WJG is Dominant White, & Extended Black.

Father is Appenzeller Spitzhauben. Chick is all black, I hatched another, also black.

All of my EE,OE, and WJG so far have been black!

I ended up with just 2 white.

Both white, & black chicks are to be expected.

Same with the EE's, all black.

The Spitzhauben is of Birchen base, which is another Extended Black gene.

Ooh. Just seemed interesting how they were all black.

Some may have color leakage when they get older, depending on the other parents colors.
