Yes, thank you.

You're welcome.

I just remembered something.

Sluggishness can also be the first sign of a vitamin deficiency. Usually I give vitamins to any sluggish bird, & they usually perk up within a day, or two.
The-White-Elephant
The-White-Elephant
Thanks! What type of vitamin?
MysteryChicken
MysteryChicken
Never know exactly, so I give a direct dose of Nutridrench in their beak.

She was much better when I went to check on her in the evening! But I did find some green poop.

Who’s the chick in your profile picture?
MysteryChicken
MysteryChicken
How's her weight? Green poop means she's not eating enough, or possibly has worms.

That's Baby Pea, she's my throw back pullet. Goober's Daughter.

Weight? Couldn’t get her yesterday, but last time I checked, about a month ago, she was 3 pounds or so. Heaviest of all the EE’s. I’ll check her again today.

That’s nice! She’s pretty! How old is she now?
MysteryChicken
MysteryChicken
Okay, let me know when you do.

Thanks, she's 9 months old now.
The-White-Elephant
The-White-Elephant
I will!

Nice! Is she laying yet?
MysteryChicken
MysteryChicken
Yes, also molting.
The-White-Elephant
The-White-Elephant
Ouch, in the cold weather. Is she close to being done?
MysteryChicken
MysteryChicken
I don't know. I can't go over there right now, so I'll have to ask my sister.

She's rapid to feather, so she drops, & regrows quickly. But she's doing so in a patchy pattern.

How old does she look like in this picture?

The-White-Elephant
The-White-Elephant
2-3 weeks, why?
MysteryChicken
MysteryChicken
3 weeks yes, but she feathered out as much as a 4½ week old.

I was just curious if you could get the age correct.
The-White-Elephant
The-White-Elephant
Wow! That’s interesting!
MysteryChicken
MysteryChicken
She was super fast. So we're 2 of her hatch mates.

I don't have a picture of a normal 3 week old chick.
The-White-Elephant

I meant to ask this a while back. My rooster, ever since we had him, sometimes keeps his eyes halfway open. Why?
MysteryChicken
MysteryChicken
I'm not sure why.
The-White-Elephant
The-White-Elephant
Ok, thanks anyway!

I checked up on her, she’s back to normal!
