Here’s the 3 that got stuck. The first one is the one in the picture above who tried to get out with her leg.
They do have some membrane stuck to them.

I am a bit concerned as I don’t know if anyone else is going to hatch and I’m worried if they were going to they may be shrink wrapped also? One does look as if some membrane detached but I don’t see pips so I can’t make a safety hole? As with the others the eggs are just dark inside so it’s hard to know if there is any movement but a dark egg indicates they probably did fully develop..

They shouldn’t get shrink wrapped if there is no hole to the outside.
You can take a warm cloth or Q tip and gently rub at that goo stuck to babies.
I love the colouring :)
I know it can be hard to see movement at the end but you should see some shadowing along the air cell
Have you looked for bruising on the shell in case baby is trying At other points of the egg

Thanks for that 😊
The first picture is the one that I’m concerned the membrane could be detached, although it’s also possible a chick has pipped in here. The second picture Shows something in the air cell but there is no movement. In the 3rd picture that air cell has changed to become pulled to the side. I had 8 others hatch also and didn’t really see anything different in those eggs unless the chick was clearly pipped. Although the 2nd picture I had eggs look like this before pipping but there was movement there in those eggs.
I’ve added the pictures in case anyone has any idea what’s going on.

@WVduckchick @Crazy Maizie you able to help
Can you put the egg to your ear and hear any scratching type noise? I know with my ducks that internal pipped I could hear noise if I put it to my ear
The one egg looks like something is in the air cell but doesn’t look like a beak
I’m not sure so I’m going to see if I can find others who maybe able to help better. I don’t want to give you the wrong advice

Hello! First time hatcher here. I have a question and any advice would be much appreciate from those who have experience…I’ve so far had 5 little chicks hatch and all have done so at a pretty progressive rate. I am curious though about one little egg that piped at around 7 am this morning and is still partially in the shell this evening. I can see it’s beak, it chirps, and I can see that it’s breathing but the inside is starting to color some. Should I be concerned or just let it try and continue to work it out during the night?

I have 28 duck eggs (barnyard mix) in the incubator, 8 from shipping and the rest from my own birds. It is day 25. There were six that I moved into there after my other incubator started making weird noises, which were set a day earlier. So I had hatch dates for them April 1 for the six, April 2 for the rest. Today was lockdown day, so I candled them before setting them in the bottom tray like I usually do and midway through I heard chirping. I noticed three eggs had externally pipped. On one, the membrane is beginning to look tan. I put them all back in the incubator, but now I’m wondering if I’ve shrink wrapped those three, plus whatever other ones have internally pipped. What do I do?
