5 for my sow, Maple, (yesterday) and 7 for my sow, Aspen (last week). I love the small litters. How many were in the litter?
Do you raise them for food? 4H kids? That is a huge litter, 17.5 for my sow, Maple, (yesterday) and 7 for my sow, Aspen (last week). I love the small litters.
We had Hampshires and it was nothing for them to have 17.
Sometimes it's really hard to find homes for that many piglets.
We raise them for food, and we sell any we don't need for ourselves or family.Do you raise them for food? 4H kids? That is a huge litter, 17.
He's a good looking fellow. I didn't know that llamas lived that long.
I have been told they can live until their early 20s if well cared for. Mac was a show llama in his youth and was nice enough to pose, lol. We got him and another one about a year ago, they are both about that age. They were given to us by an elderly couple in their 80s who were selling their property and moving into assisted living. Here is a pic of Mac with Miss Z.He's a good looking fellow. I didn't know that llamas lived that long.
