The Rural King website specifically states that their Coffee Grounds are Caffeine Free. Considering you can purchase De-Caffeinated Coffee, I would imagine that it is not difficult to manage that process. I can see where it could be a constipation issue for baby chicks so that would be something to avoid, but I don't see where a full grown chicken would have an issue with caffeine free grounds in a coop where they pretty much only sleep.I don’t use real coffee grounds, like from my coffee maker or anything... I use coffee ground bedding that you get from TSC or Rural King
