Low protein diet for Indio Gigantes?

I've been searching, but have not been able to find out what % protein would be considered "low" enough! Any help on proper diet from anyone on here that has raised them will be greatly appreciated!

Rare roosters says they feed 16% and supplement with collard greens. I don’t know anything but my IG’s are 9 weeks old and I have been giving them Purina game bird feed at 30% and they fly up to roost at night, they are the last ones to stop foraging and they run around non stop. One stands in ants and eats to his hearts content.
