Amber got another trim on her beak again. Just like last time, I sanded it down with a nail file. She started screaming when I worked her bottom beak, so I tried to do her beak as quickly as I could. Then, I accidentally went too far. I put some flour on her bottom beak and it worked great to stop the bleeding. I rinsed her beak, put some more flour on, then rinsed it again. After doing that, her beak looked well so I returned her back to her flock. Later, I checked on her beak again, and it looked perfectly fine with no signs of bleeding. That was my first beak bleed when trimming, though not my first bleed on any trimming, like the chickens nails.
