Now my Roo needs a new name. Any good suggestions? Nobody in the fam liked my Scooby Roo or Winnie the Roo

Of course, I was just joking, but actually looking for something more dignified since he'll hopefully be quite the looker when grown.

We named my friend's cockerel Cornelius. It's the name of the corn flakes mascot, who was a welsummer.

Of course, my son got to name OUR cockerel and so we have the lavender orpington Captain Floofypants

Hi! Yes, you Welsummer is 100% a cockerel. Make welsummer feather in with a very dark/black chest. While hens feather in with a more amber colored chest. I included a picture of my Welsummers pullets. I think he is the only cockerel tho!
