I'm trying something new with my quail's feed. I'm mixing the crumble with my other birds' seed, hoping it will help control whatever is ailing my girls If their eggs become problematic, I have some calcium supplement. I seriously think it's a nutritional problem making my poor girls sick.
Non bird related, I have another painting on the go. A fella on one of my friend's Facebook groups lost his service dog to cancer and my friend asked me to paint him up a picture of him and his dog as a memory.
Clearly it need a lot more work, but I've been so bleh lately mentally that I've not even practiced my recorder. Meh.
So that's my update

Finished the above mentioned painting!
The guy who's getting it, loves the painting Yaaaaay for another successful commission!
On a sadder note, Stock, one of my quail, finally passed on. I was feeding her egg food mixed with her crumble, then offered her water by hand. SHe perked right up, looked like she was going to recover but yesterday she finally passed. Poor Barrel is confused as to why she's alone. I have Barrel in with the cockatiels so she has some company, even if it is another species.
Been packing, as I'm moving in June or July. Loads of 'entertainment'. I've thrown out so much junk! Most of my apartment is boxed. Just have my essentials out, like the art and my Transformers collection. Fun Fun Fun

SOld my Green Cheek Conures yesterday. I feel so bummed, as I loved them. MOst apartment buildings I've been looking at only allow 2 birds, so I decided to downsize my flock. Technically I have 4 birds, but Barrel, the quail, is easy to hide if I have to. Like pulling teeth all this bird wrangling. I just miss Tsunami and Batburd horribly. :'( . They've gone to a guy with a lot of bird experience, so I know they'll be in good hands.
