Is there anyway for you to set up an automatic waterer (like for livestock)? We bought the float type, hooked it onto a small (goat/sheep) feeder and put it between 2 pens (hooked through the wire). When it gets dirty (and it does about every 3 days) I just tip it and run my hand around the edges and let the water blast the sides for a bit and set it back down. Cleaner water and available all the time. For the ones that range outside (our bantams use the auto one inside because of birds of prey trying to wipe them out) we have a small more shallow galvanized tub (prob like a 2 1/2 ‐3 gallon) w/a float waterer, and the livestock (sheep, cattle) and poultry use it too. We also have th large metal ones (3 gallon) and the sheep and cattle would always come up and drink it dry or knock it over, so this other method worked best (I tried every kind of waterer before this method). And they're usually refilling diring the day so the water stays cool.
