:fl started with 6 Potch koekoeks hens in 2020 , + 3 hybrid blue orpingtons .2 broodies hatched 20 hybrid(smarties) 8xR 12xH ,
in April tried to incubate some of there eggs and now have 28 x 7 week, 5x4 week from broody , 14 x 2 week old from broody and 12 incubated , 14x day old incubated and have (30?) due next week ( incub).
The Rugged squad.
in 21 days incubation the temp inside dropped to 32 c (89f) no less than 54 times with load-shedding (2.5 hours without electricity +- 3x/day ) and still have +- 50% hatch rate from day 22-24🙏
