Welcome! I may be able to help you with your dangerous lack of chickens. 😄 My son and I raised some chicks to sell as "starter flocks", for folks who didn't want to raise babies. Well, we've got a few young pullets left over, heritage breeds, if you'd be interested in a trio, please let me know! 😊

Professional help was, and still is, definitely needed. Unfortunately, there's absolutely nothing else I can do to try to help her in that area. I tried talking with her in just about every way I could think of, I even had a few of her old friends chime in with support. No luck. Her grief goes...

Found a home!

When roosters fight for dominance, they will repeatedly mount hens. It's very hard on the girls!!! For example: Piper mounts Hey-Hey's favorite hen Xena, so Hey-Hey runs over and knocks him off. Then Hey-Hey has to show his dominance, so he now mounts Xena. The poor thing!

20-5 is too many boys, with twenty hens two boys is really too many, even. You need at least a dozen hens, on average, per rooster to avoid fighting.

Can you separate at least one of them?
