Hello again. I received my fresh supply of enrofloxacin 10% liquid today. Before I start her on it, I want to verify I’m dosing properly. She weighs 7 lb. 11 oz. I’m assuming I would round up to 8 lbs? So if the dose is .05ml/lb, would I be giving her .4ml twice a day? And can I squirt the dose into a tiny piece of bread to make it easier? I do realize bread is not good for ducks, but we’re talking a very tiny piece twice a day. If possible, I would rather do that than traumatize her any further by trying to put it down her throat when I’m not used to doing it. I’d appreciate anybody’s help on this. I’d like to start her on it tonight. As a side note, her foot was looking great until this afternoon when she somehow got her booty off and the scab peeled off again. As soon as I noticed it, I disinfected it again and put a fresh boot on. ☹️
